Fangirl Friday!

*ETA: Probably would be a good thing to hit “publish”…*

Episode Deux of Clashing Muses. Things are still crazy busy around here but I *am* working on getting the CM blog up and running, but there are only a limited amount of hours to my day (damn, I feel old) and bills to be paid.

But we *still* sat down last week and chatted it up!

Last week, on our blogtalk show, we talked about Biomancers (as they exist within the world of the Nemesis Chronicles)…the first part is LIVE every Friday night at 8pm PST at this link: HERE.

And then we kicked back for part 2 (see link below) just to rant and share the love.

I Have Not Abandoned You!

Things have been super crazy around here, what with In-Law visits and Audio project deadlines looming. However!

We have a few things cooking right now, one of which can be found here: and listened to LIVE every Friday at 8pm EST. Here’s the fun part, on Friday, after the live portion, we record a CL exclusive portion that will be up by the next Friday, so keep your ears peeled for part 2 to show up tomorrow.

Also, once I get these Audio books out of the way, I’ll be updating and creating the Clashing Muses blog, a place to find the latest podcasts from yours truly, in case you’re not all about the snark. We cover movie/game/television reviews, food stuffs, you name it. If it’s not necessarily snark, more Fangirl Friday related? It’ll be there. And here. Cross posting for the win, right?

You can still follow what we’re up to on twitter: @hrjacksontnc aaaaand…. *points at sidebar* there too.

I’m dying to do snark, but y’know, real life is being a PITA right now. Maybe if I catch a break between now and tomorrow, I’ll get Wonder Woman up in addition to the Friday Fangirl posting. Seriously, yo, I haven’t even had a chance to do my nails. My tips are looking raggedy!

She!Hulk Gets Misunderstood

The Savage She-Hulk, #3 (April 1979)

Tempestuous!Tuesday, Shulkanauts!

That sound you hear? That’s the sound of my squee when I discovered that, though the status of a few of my comics collections remains on shaky ground, I had NO problems getting into my She!Hulk stash.

Thank heavens, because I was about to seriously cry bitter tears of emo-woe that would make even Emo!Thor jealous.

And we know he generally has the market cornered on emo.

This week we’ve been busy with the Book Tour, and you can follow its progress at our FB Fan Page, if you’d like. If you’ve read our books, fantastic! Let us know what you think in the comments, or leave a review on amazon or whathaveyou. We always love to hear from our fans.

And speaking of fans… goodness, it’s been warm here lately! Well, warm for Seattle (mid 80s), but you’d swear the city were melting with the hysteria around the temps. As always, we’re quite happy that we have central AC.

Beyond that, this week has already been filled with too many dental visits, prepping for the arrival of Dragon’s Mom next month, and just general shenanigannery around ye olde Hus af Snark. I’ve been working on a bunch of audiobook projects and working my little heiney off doing something that, besides this blog, I truly enjoy.

I mean really… my voice, reading books to you? What’s not to like?

But you’re not here to hear me gloat about my awesomeness, are you?

Virtual Book Tour Pimpin’.

Hand of Time Banner 450 x 169

We’re having a virtual book tour!

This is kind of a big deal for us and we’re seriously looking forward to getting out there to share our books with everyone across the blogosphere.

There will be interviews (both podcast and written), reviews of the book, guest blogs… the whole thing.

In fact, one of the really awesome interviews we’re looking forward to is a character interview, where Dirk and Morgan will actually take time out of their oh-so-hectic lives to answer a few questions and give their opinions.

As a matter of fact, we’re opening it up to all of you, too!

If you had the opportunity to ask ANY question of our dynamic duo, what would it be? Post your questions in the comments and we’ll get you the answers you’re seeking. If we really love your question, we might just even include it in the official character interview on August 13th over at Laurie’s Paranormal Thoughts And Reviews blog, and there might just be an extra little something in it for you as well.

Deadline for question submission for the character interview will be midnight PST, August 2nd.

But don’t think you can’t ask questions here anyway beyond the deadline! In fact, if we get enough of a response, we might just make character interviews a regular feature on this blog. Think of it as a way to really get to know the cast and crew of the Nemesis Chronicles.

This weekend we’ll be working on getting more details about just where you’ll be able to find us throughout the tour, and keep your eyes peeled here (and on our Facebook Fan Page) for times/places.

We are certainly looking forward to this tour. Are you?

Fangirl Friday! Polish Haul and Hilarity!

Fabulous Fangirl Friday to you all!

I’ve been to the dentist twice now this week, both for the same stupid temporary crown. All I can say is: It’s a darned good thing I actually like my dentist. And I am *so* happy that she gives me valium.

It’s been spectacularly sunny and warm here in gray ol’ Seattle-town, although the clouds moving in tonight make me wonder if it’s going to last. We’re both hoping that Saturday, at least, is full of awesome weather as we have a date with friends and their bbq.

I’m even making red velvet for the occasion. You *know* it’s going to be a good time when Snarkstress busts out the baking pans.

Pictures may, or may not, be forthcoming. So that you, too, can marvel at my baking-fu.

I’ve also been working a LOT on recording a new audiobook for a fantastic author. A book that, may I share, is amazingly good and leaves me incredibly humbled to be a part of. The characters are so rich and so much fun, the story is addictive, and, um, the sexiness in it? Un.Be.Lievable. I’ll share more when it’s available because, seriously, it’s a fun read.

And speaking of great books, the fifth book in the Charlie Davidson series by Darynda Jones, “Fifth Grave Past the Light” was released this week and it’s been staring at me from my Kindle’s screen. I’ve only been able to read a couple of chapters (I know, bad Snarkstress!) but with as busy as I’ve been, well, you know. I plan to have it finished this weekend. Or at least by next Friday.

And, because it’s relevant: Our audiobook is out there on Audible, iTunes, and Amazon, along with e-copies and hard copies. *Shameless plugging to your right. arrow1s_e0*

You’ll also notice over there that I’ve finally added a link to my Pinterest boards. Because Pinterest is the purest, most evil time suck ever. And I love it.

SO! Let’s talk about nails.

Hand Of Time is LIVE!

Hand Of Time CoverHappy publishing day!

Hand Of Time, Book 2 of The Nemesis Chronicles is NOW available over on AmazonCreatespace, and B&N for your reading pleasure.

We want to thank each and every one of you for your support, for your wonderful reviews, and for letting us keep telling our stories! We hope you enjoy reading this second book as much as we enjoyed writing it!

Hand of Time, Chapter 2!

Yesterday, you got a sneak peak at Chapter 1 of the upcoming Hand of Time.

If you read it yesterday, go back and reread, as I discovered later last night that I’d uploaded the “mostly edited” version, not the one for print. I’m relatively sure you’ll notice the differences.

In any event, it’s fixed now. And since we’ve already heard from Dirk, I think it’s time to take a peek and see what Morgan has been up to.

3 days and counting!
